We lift our hearts to you. As this day unfolds, help me to be reminded that I share in the power of a risen savior. Lord, I lift my eyes to you. Please help me to see today as one more opportunity to walk into the promises you made before the beginning of time, that you will never leave me nor forsake me. That even when my father and my mother forsake me, the lord will take me up. Help me to be reminded that you hold the world in the palm of your hands. I am facing some trials and tribulations right now, that are trying to get the best of me. Sometimes the problems I face seem so grave and difficult, but I ask you now God to show yourself strong in my life.
I ask you to to rule and super-rule in every arena of my life. I turn off of my burdens over to you, and I simply pray that not my will, but please let your will be done. And give me the peace that surpasses all understanding, resting in the knowledge that if God be for me, then who can be against me. Let the lights of your resurrection shine anew in my life in this season, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
