Have you ever gotten to a point in your life where you thought you had everything figured out? And although life may not be 100% perfect, you’ve somehow managed to land the job you’ve always wanted. You’ve been able to keep your bank account thriving and in the black. You’re credit score is just a payment away from being perfect. You’ve found the happily ever after you’ve been praying for in someone. You begin to think, finally life is going right for you. And in the blink of an eye, you’re stricken with one setback after another, forcing you to have to start over.
For anyone who has found him or herself feeling content with the flow of their lives, having to start over can be downright agonizing, painfully excruciating even. Think of that individual who has been met with a life-changing event like a debilitating car accident that has taken away most or all of their mobility in their legs. The thought of having to go from being able to get up and run, to not being able to walk is unimaginable for many of us. Talk about starting over. And yet, people do it everyday. They adjust, and rebuild. And you can too.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.” Philippians 4:13
